What better way to spend a June day than on the banks of the Tay along with other women who share one goal? To become Guitar Heroes!

This workshop, taking place in Perth, Ontario, Canada, is for women who are new to guitar or who haven't played in a while - maybe a long while. Dust off the guitar and rekindle that musical flame.

We will tackle the basic building blocks, including chords, strumming and fingerpicking in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

Price includes instruction, materials, access to Sue all day, as well as a mini concert on Saturday night.

As with all Guitar Mama retreats, we will self-cater, with a potluck dinner.

You will have the option to explore the song-writer in you with your host, Sarah Paterson.

Sue Denton has over 20 years of experience teaching workshops and retreats, and has focused exclusively on adult music engagement for the last decade. She believes that music in community is a powerful thing, and loves to encourage adult beginners more than anything. Sue lives in Canmore, Alberta.
