Escape to Kananaskis and cozy down with the Guitar Mama family as winter settles in. Wonderful workshops led by gifted facilitators, great food and fellowship, lots of music making and merriment - what better way to slide into the cold season? Women of all levels of ability and experience are invited and welcome!
Friday and Saturday night will see collaborative music making activities and lots of jamming. Saturday workshops include yoga/women's health with Shannon Harvey, Rhythm and Strumming with Sue Chick Denton, and a how-to on playing with other people led by Rhonda Shippy. There will also be a little tutorial on how to change your guitar strings, and lots of time for questions and down time.
This is a self catered retreat with an excellent pot luck meal on Saturday night. We all bring our own food and bevvies, with something to share for the pot luck. Please let Sue know if you have allergies!
